Cheers, La Jolla!

Some of my favorites we celebrate this month…Coffee, coffee, and coffee! La Jolla has an abundance of coffee shops – centers of our community where we gather to talk about life, school, family…what’s important! For some a daily routine, and others a special treat. So many jewels here in La Jolla but we take an in-depth look at a star that is doing well locally and globally – Bird Rock Coffee Roasters.

In this issue, we go beyond your standard cocktail with a fun feature and George’s Level2 drink. Hope you enjoy the recipe. And by popular demand, we continue our La Jolla Unleashed feature. We hope you enjoy this new favorite spotlight on one of our furry friends in the community!

We also can’t wait for the annual La Jolla Art & Wine Festival. Last year, we couldn’t peel our kids away from the Gepetto’s Kids Zone to explore the whole event for hours. This year, so much to see and explore once again in The Village. We decided to explore the Top 10 Reasons to attend this year’s festival, but each year proves new and exciting.

Something I never knew I needed until reading about Michelle St. Clair is a luxury concierge. This is a fascinating look into the life of the woman at the helm of Elite Lifestyle Management and why this La Jolla resident is elevating the concept of the concierge in San Diego and beyond.

What’s your favorite coffee spot? Share with us online…we’d love to hear from you!
