Kaminskiy Design and Remodeling Presents on Aging in Place

The team at Kaminskiy Design and Remodeling presented on the topic of ‘Aging in Place’, as special guest speakers invited by John Preston of Preston Estate Planning for their quarterly seminar. Some of the highlights addressed by the Kaminskiy Design and Remodeling team included preparing for the future by adding rails and ramps around the home, and widening hallways for walkers/wheelchairs. These options provide the individual with the alternative to moving to an assisted living facility. Staying in the comfort of one’s home, in which memories were built, is a much cheaper solution down the road in comparison to a facility that can cost around $5,000 monthly. In just a few short years, the facility costs can far exceed the remodeling costs. Kaminskiy Design and Remodeling is an award-winning San Diego-based full service home remodeling company, specializing in full home remodeling, room additions, kitchen remodeling, and bathroom remodeling.
